Let's Make All of Life's Big First Decisions. Right Now.

Johnny and I, finally, after knowing each other for almost 10 years, started formally dating in May of 2007.  Moved in together in August of 2007.  Got engaged in March of 2008.  Got married in September of 2008. Had M in June of 2009.  Had J in June of 2010 and bought our first house together in September of 2010.  And here we are.  In a house we bought in a great neighborhood with great neighbors and great schools.  In a house we bought as is.  The previous owner lived here since 1950.  And it looks it.

We've jumped into a LOT of projects.  100% excited about each one.  When we begin, we uncover more years and more wallets of work that needs to be done.  So for now, we've decided to make it livable to us and as the time and money comes, we'll do things the "right" way.

We've painted inside and out.  Put new floors in the dining room and living room.  Taken trees and old landscaping out and put new trees and landscaping in.  When I make a list of it, it doesn't seem like much but in real life... it feels like it's been neverending.  And it looks a LOT better.  I'm proud of what we've done so far and I'm excited for starting the makeover on our kitchen.

More pictures, soon!
